Kildare Youth Ballet Company has been created to provide an opportunity to our dancers to train as a team at an advanced level. As a performance-based company, our dancers will be given the chance to experience all aspects of life as a performer. With advanced training both beyond and in tandem with their syllabus training, our dancers will benefit from continued growth in technique, artistry, dance education, development and access to all areas of performance.

KYBC aims to provide a supportive and inclusive culture and to encourage our dancers to improve in their individual talents and strengths. It is on this basis that the audition process and casting will be solely merit, ability and talent based and each dancer will be given development opportunities throughout the year.

Annual performances will be held exclusively by the Company and therefore a high level of commitment and dedication will be required. As a Company all dancers of KYBC will work as a team and support one another in achieving the highest standards in class and in performance.

KYBC offers an amazing opportunity to our dancers to excel and stand out in a creative and fun environment and aim to impress.

Our 2023-2024 Season was a huge success with attendances at PERFORM Ireland, a large number of entries to the National Dance Competition in Ennis and our hugely successful production of The Wizard of Oz. We have a lot more in store for our 2024-2025 season.

Weekly Class/ Rehearsal Schedule

Sunday 10:00am – 12:00pm

Group B

Sunday 12:00pm – 2:00pm

Rehearsal (dates and times to be confirmed when required) [Typically after company classes on Sundays]

Workshops will usually take place during usual class times where possible.
